Still Here!

Hey Lauren!!!!! I'm still here. Believe it or not, I actually still get on this old thing and read up. I must admit though the world of myspace is enticing but I guess sometimes you just crave the simplicity of "home". HA!

So here is an update in the life and times of Alice Larson Scott:

First and foremost I have never been more in love with my husband. Thank you Jesus!

We are expecting our first child in December, 23rd as if December wasn't bad enough Merry Christmas to all and to all a sleepness Christmas! HA! He/She will be our little gift. What is cool about this though is my family and Josh's family will be coming down to Jackson for the Holidays. That should be a hoot!

CLC is going well. It is growing and peoples lives are being changed and challenged. That is always a good thing. I am really anxious in the spirit though because I know God is up to something. I think we are on the verge of a great outpouring of the Lord's presence and I am looking forward to what He is going to do. You can feel this frustration in the atmosphere. And that's a good thing! The Bible says that creation is "subject to frustration" waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. I believe that there is coming a revealing and I want to be right in the mix of it.

There have been a billion and half weddings this year, and virtually everyone is getting pregnant! HA! I jumped on that band wagon. But I am so glad that Josh and I have been married for 4 years before we started a family. It's so important to love each other, have a foundation, learn to communicate, enjoy being married, and take time to get a life started before having children. I look at our maturity now verses our maturity when I wanted kids and I have to say, THANK YOU JESUS! Our finances are good, our house is great, we understand one another, and we took advantage of our time as a single unit. And now we enter into the next phase. What a ride!

Josh's first album should be out in July!

I think that is all I can think of right now. But anyway, I love all you xanga friends and will keep you updated!

~Alice
